22 Aug One thousand and one glazed plates
The One Thousand and One Glazed Plates project is an exhibition managed by Azadeh Shouli, aiming to remind the importance of visual effects in the applied arts in Aban 95. The exhibition features artists from various fields such as painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, graphics, calligraphy, painting, gilding, architecture, cinema, theatre, and music. These artists work together to create a new visual culture in contemporary Iranian ceramics.
The project uses one of the painting techniques on ceramics to create unique works of art. The proceeds from the sale of these works will be donated to the Children’s Medical Centre. This is a great way to support the medical centre while also showcasing the creative talents of Iranian artists.
The One Thousand and One Glazed Plates project is a great example of how art can be used to benefit a cause.
Time of the exhibition: November 2016
